It is suitable for all types of growing media. PowerZyme is an extract from the Trichoderma fungus, which lives in symbiosis with plant roots. The enzymes in PowerZyme are extracted through a strictly natural fermentation process.<\/p>\n<p>Enzymes break down dead plant matter, making room for new roots and aerating the soil. They convert the nutrients in the dead matter into a form that plants can use, thereby creating another source of food for living plants. Removing dead plant matter also means there is less food for pathogens.<\/p>\n<p>All of this improves the plants\u2019 overall well-being. They don\u2019t have to expend as many resources to protect themselves from pathogens and can access an additional source of nutrients.
